Ayr Film Society is an award-winning, community-led cinema for film-lovers in South Ayrshire. Since 1974 we have brought the best independent, foreign and non-mainstream films to our local community. Each year we screen an entertaining, interesting, thought-provoking and eclectic mix of around 25 films including contemporary, classic, European, Asian, Latin American and African cinema. Winner of Best Film Programme Award at the UK Film Society of the Year Awards 2019. Charity number: SC006980.
