About Beck Community Centre

The Beck Community Centre is situated in the South East part of Kendal. It serves a community of around 6000 residents. It has level access and facilities for the disabled. On the South side is an outside play area with a soft impact surface. The centre is managed by a committee. Each user group has its own committee where appropriate with a representative on the management committee. The centre has now reached capacity and needs to build an extension to cater for extra facilities. These would include wrap-around-care for 3 year olds attending nursery education, a resource centre and library outlet.
