The British Federation of Film Societies (BFFS) is the national support and development organisation for the film society and community cinema movement. Established in our current form in 1946, we enable communities across the country to develop the type of film screenings they want and can sustain. We work to help set up and support new community cinemas and film societies and provide advice and support for existing groups. We offer a broad range of cultural film titles at a low cost through our Booking Scheme which allows our members to show a diverse range of films to their audiences. We also act as a champion for the community cinema movement, celebrating and raising awareness of our members' extraordinary achievements. Our vision is Cinema For All.
