About Bishopthorpe Bowling Club, York
Founded in 1927, we are a flat green bowling club near York and are open to anyone above the age of 12. We run 6 teams in 4 local leagues as well as organising club competitions, social bowling events and a regular weekly club night. Our aim is to give everyone who wants to play competitively, a chance to do so. The Club has rented premises comprising a bowling green and clubhouse.
