About this cause

About our cause

The choir is based on the Isle of Wight and consists of 38 singers at present. The choir usually gives around 15 concerts per year and the majority of cash raised goes to either the cause we are singing for or for the choirs own annually designated charity. Each year we raise approx £1000-1200 for our own charity, plus money raised by good causes who have asked us to sing. The members pay a £40 subscription, but running costs are quite high--in 2014 we spent approx £700 buying music alone.
