I have decided to get involved with World Challenge where I will be visiting Swaziland, Africa for two weeks in July 2016. While I am over there I will be doing lots of different activities such as hiking, building new schools to help out in the local village and playing/teaching the children. In the project phase where I will be helping out in the local village I will be involved in the community and given an insight into their culture and how they live. I will mostly be working with the orphans who have lost their parents to HIV and this will last up to 6 days, I could be doing anything from dancing and doing sports to construction and refurbishment. After the project phase I will be trekking for 3 days where I will be sleeping in a tent and doing activities in the Malolotja Nature Reserve such as zip wiring and tree top bridges. For the last bit of the trip we will have a rest and relaxation phase where we will be visiting the Mildlane Wildlife Sanctuary to see the beautiful animals in Swaziland, we will see a variety of different animals such as zebras and hippos etc. If anyone can help with the fundraising or would like to donate anything towards my amazing trip that would be amazing and i am very grateful, thankyou!
