Cafe Project : Is a social meeting point and provides affordable healthy meals to local residents. Delivers meals to elderly and vulnerable members of the community. Often providing the only social contact for people who would otherwise spend the whole day alone. This service is delivered by a dedicated team of volunteers.
The adjacent BRIC project is a community based amenity providing advice & support and is a base for community activities and projects. It also offers meeting space for training opportunities, several outreach surgeries and co-ordinates the community garden projects who supply the Cafe with fresh vegetables. The Biddulph East Community Association is the governing body. Currently we have 21 active dedicated volunteers involved with the group all wanting to make a difference within their community. Please support us. Thank you.
