We are trying to refurbish our church buildings to create a facility which can be used by the local community. Initial estimates indicate that we will need approximately £300,000 for phase 1 which will provide ;
1. level access to all the rooms to comply with the disability legislation.
2. A welcoming entrance which can be viewed from outside to enable the local community to engage with us more easily.
3. New upgraded heating system using the latest technology to reduce our environmental footprint.
4. New lighting and audio-visual systems.
5. Lounge area to serve refreshments.
6. Comfortable seating in the main body of the church to enable more varied worship styles and greater flexibilty for other users..
7. Screening to enable users to sub-divide larger iareas into smaller units.
8. Insulation to reduce energy consumption
