About this cause

About our cause

Cafe Indiependent is a coffee and music house in Scunthorpe Town centre run by volunteers for the whole community, there is an interactive arts area for children, the bare brick walls are an exhibition space, there is art and live music and we open until late. This is not about profit, it's a training space for young people to gain skills and experience. Upstairs is a social enterprise incubator unit and training space, developing young people who develop ideas, enterprises, projects and events.
