The ongoing Invasion of Lion fish into the Caribbean has had a detrimental impact on the biodiversity of Caribbean coral reef environments. My dissertation project expedition will aim to understand the behaviour that drives these invasive species and what has made them become the dominant predator within the ecosystem but also what native species are most at risk from these voracious predators dependent on the lion fish species feeding habits.
