As part of my ongoing midwifery training, during my final year I have to complete an elective placement for three weeks. I have decided to travel to Tanzania and work in one of their local hospitals to gain knowledge and insight into maternity services in a developing country. There will be very limited resources compare to the UK with maternity care being very different from what we are used to here.As this is an elective I am trying to raise some money to aid me in funding this trip.
