World Challenge 2017 - Carlota D'Souza

My expedition is called 'Yunnan Overland'. My first challenge of my expedition will be to raise £4000 to fund this experience. This £4000 will cover my flights, accommodation, transport, money for building schools in communities and installing water fountains in the 'World Project'. My expedition begins in Thailand, then we trek to Laos where we will have the opportunity to help in a community project which involves working with community members to improve standards of living. For example renovating schools or introducing clean water fountains etc. Another part of my expedition will be travelling to China where we will take part in an intense trek up the mountains/through the jungle. We finally travel to Vietnam where we get a period of rest and relax time, giving me the opportunity to really immerse myself into the culture of Southern Asia. The whole of the expedition will be organised and planned by my team, a group of young students from Winstanley college. We will be given a daily budget of money which we will have to put towards food, transport and accomodation for the night. I hope you will be able to support me n my challenge. Many Thanks
