About Cell Barnes Trust

A registered charity whose voluntary trustees administer money raised enitrely by donations, legacies & fund-raising events for the benefit of our learning disabled friends. We help with items or services that are not normally provided by the statutory or charitable authorities currently looking after them, things like holiday money, help with transport costs for visiting relatives, environmental improvements, support for voluntary be-frienders, and contributions to active community groups. Currently we also run a Christmas party for about 150 people and a summer sports day. In addition we send birthday and Christmas cards to learning disabled people, many of whom lack family carers or other friends. We do not normally contribute to building works.
