About this cause

About our cause

The Charlea Allotment Gardens in Brimscombe is a picturesque meadow on the sunny side of the Golden Valley just outside Stroud. Since the withdrawal of the allotments the community has used the meadow for informal recreation. Over the last 2 years BOSS (Brimscombe Open Spaces Society) have been fighting to protect the meadow from development. The landowners (Bisley Feoffees) have now made the decision to gift the land to BOSS for community use. Help us protect the land for future generations!
