About Kenya Education Partnerships - Charlotte Lennon
We aim to improve secondary school education for young people in rural Kenya. We are a student based organisation, working in direct partnership with schools and developing their capacity for self led growth. This is primarily achieved through equipping schools with a solid resource base, and also through supporting a wider, more holistic programme. In 2009, Kenya Education Partnerships directly invested over £17,000 in nine rural schools. 95% of this money was invested in library books, school equipment, and in the development of science laboratories. Money raised will fund my trip to Kenya, where I will work in partnership with a school in a rural area, to improve education.
