The cost of my fare is mainly to cover the fares of scouts and guides from countries that are less fortunate- at this point in fundraising, I am no longer paying for my trip; I’m paying towards the trip of a lifetime for a kid in a wartorn county, a hunger stricken country or perhaps just a child who can’t make the price. And for me, this trip will be exactly how I can meet with people from these and other countries as to further my cultural conception of the world we live in.
