About Collective Encounters

Collective Encounters uses theatre as a tool for social change: engaging those on the margins, telling untold stories, and tackling the most pressing concerns of our time. We use the magic of live performance to excite, entertain and stimulate debate; and the power of the drama process to empower, up-skill and explore. Our current programme includes - - weekly youth theatre for 13 - 25 years from north Liverpool - regular theatre for the third workshops for the over 55's - a distinct programme of work with homeless people in and around Merseyside - a ground-breaking arts and health initiative which improves the experiences of people with dementia, in partnership with health and social care providers
