Comex (Walsall) Ltd began as an initiative by local christian churches in order to help the homeless, unemployed and generally disadvantaged people of Walsall.
The Glebe Centre was established in 1975 in a purpose built centre on the Wednesbury Road, corner of Glebe street, Walsall. Monthly church services take place the first Tuesday of every month at 1:30pm and a Sunday school service operates every Sunday morning.
The Glebe Centre operates an open door policy, no referral is needed in an independent caring centre for disadvantaged vulnerable and homeless people over the age of 18 where upon a number of core services are available. Including: Subsidised Meals, Snacks and Drinks, Free Showers with toiletries, Free Clothing, A safe warm and welcoming place where staff are on hand to assist with any form filling or sign posting to external agencies if required.
It's simple to use and it's free. Since we launched in 2005, we've helped thousands of good causes raise money simply by shopping online. Our community of over 1.8 million loyal supporters has so far raised over £31 million.
