Creative-zone

Creative-zone is a not-for-profit organisation that works closely with schools, youth groups, community centres and a range of other services to meet the learning needs of the children, young people and families (cross sector community stakeholders). We provide fun / industry learning opportunities that encourage positive citizenship, employability and the enjoyment of learning. We also provide and broker volunteering opportunities for young people interested in giving their time to support other children and young people. Our focus - a locally based provider that understands the needs of local schools and local people. Best practice - delivering services and projects that make a difference to the lives of the children, young people and their families. Our range of services - constantly reviewing what we offer, updating our offer through discussion with our partners about new initiatives. Understanding local need - through our on-going conversation with the Local Authority, local schools and local voluntary sector organisations we understand the complexity of need because we are involved too. Being a responsive and innovative organisation - listening to head teachers, informal learning providers, families, children and young people ensures we are responsive. A partnership approach to service delivery - we believe the only way to support a child, young person or family is to work together with the family, the school and any other service involved. We believe in partnerships and play an active role in a number of partnerships.
