About Cuimhne: Irish Memory Loss Alliance
Cuimhne (pronouced qu'eevna) is the Irish word for memory. Cuimhne is a project set up to support Irish elders living in Britain with memory loss inc. of age related, dementia and Alzheimer's. We also aim to ensure family carers are looked after. We will achieve this by working with and supporting current Irish services, clubs and businesses to develop services and environments which are inclusive and stimulating for elders with memory loss and their family carers.
