About EAPAG (Learning Disabilities)
The Downland Farm Project is the flagship training programme managed by Eastbourne Area Parents Action Group, a registered charity. The project offers a high quality training environment, based at a fully functioning hotel, a garden nursery and pet care centre. Students are taught the skills required to increase their independence and meet the needs of potential employers and the wider community. It is a unique project in that students gain work experience in a friendly and enjoyable setting, whilst receiving high quality instruction in all aspects of hotel work and horticulture, including customer care. They also receive IT training aimed at improving their numeracy and literacy skills.
