Hello! I am a student at Middlesex University and I am currently doing a fundraising project for the FutureSense Foundation which is an NGO that supports 8000 individuals in seven different countries, working closely with disadvantaged communities and supporting children's learning to help improve career opportunities later on in life. Next year a group of students from Middlesex, including myself, will be going to Thailand on behalf of FutureSense to work in one of the Northern tribe communities, volunteering in the local school and working on a renovation project for the community. We will also be volunteering at the Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai, which is a safe haven for elephants that have been abused in the tourism industry, many ending up blind, disabled and orphaned. Each member of our group has to fundraise an amazing £2450 for FutureSense and this money will be split across the seven countries to aid them in supporting these communities.
