Esther's Great Orangutan Project

Conservation experts forecast the total extinction of the wild Orangutan within the next 20 to 30 years. There isn\'t long to make a change, and I\'d like to make my contribution now, while there\'s still time. The Great Orangutan Project is a sanctuary based in Sarawak, Borneo that aims to rescue and rehabilitate wild Orangutans, saving them from the brink of extinction. They need volunteers, without whom the project would be unsustainable. In September 2007 I will be one of those volunteers, but I need your assistance to do this. The funding your shopping provides, via this website, will contribute to conservation projects made by the wildlife centre, and help to fund the employment of experts, to train tribal locals and to improve the conservation efforts through education and research programmes - all of this in addition to making the use of volunteers possible. The money raised from your shopping won\'t cost you any extra, buy it will make a tangible difference to the orangutans in the sanctuary, and to the future of the species. Thank you.
