Next year I will be travelling to Borneo with a team from my school. We'll be learning survival techniques before we trek through the jungle. We then spend time at the Kiulu River and hiking at the base of Mt Kinabalu National Park then climbing the mountain! I'll also be visiting the Orangutan Rehabilitation and Sun Bear Conservation centres. Finally I'll be spending time on the TAR islands on a project within the Marine Park which includes fish ID, snorkelling workshops, coral health monitoring, beach cleaning and shark and turtle population assessment. Very exciting!
