About Facing The World
Facing the World is a British Charity that was founded to offer life-changing treatment to children with severe facial disfigurement. We do this in four ways. •We bring children with the most conditions which cannot be treated locally to the UK for surgery. •We provide training to develop the capacity of local teams to provide surgery. •We network to find local treatment for those who do not need to come to the UK for treatment. •We provide support for families on their return in order to facilitate their life change.
