World Challenge Thailand & Cambodia 2017 - Farida Elseragy

I am going to Thailand and Cambodia in Summer 2017, I am extremely excited. Being one of the poorest and neediest countries in the world, and amongst the least developed of all World Challenge's destinations, the project possibilities in Cambodia are fantastic, providing a wonderful opportunity for teams to get off the tourist trail and experience Cambodia's rich culture. There are some excellent community development projects to choose from in Cambodia, from assisting in orphanages to helping to build houses or even digging wells in local Khmer villages. I would love to be part of helping people in poorer countries in realising their potentials. In addition, I am sure I will have fantastic time exploring one of Thailand's national parks, where I could spot and experience a variety of wildlife in their natural habitat, from leeches to monkeys to elephants!
