About this cause

About our cause

The FarmLink vision is to bring the classroom to the countryside and the countryside to the classroom. The charity aims to continue to develop a programme of education and training based on active, imaginative and novel ways of covering National Curriculum topics. Children learn outside the classroom using farm visits as a resource to combine with school based activities. The farms and gardens we visit provide opportunities for teachers to bring their children to the countryside and learn outside.
