About Gainsborough Community Wheels
We are a voluntary car scheme and we provide transport for people, mainly elderly, to get to their hospital and doctors appointments. We also take them shopping and to social activities. The eligibiilty for NHS transport is becoming increasingly difficult and we are finding more people contacting us to help them. All connected with the scheme give their time on a voluntary basis, we make a fair charge to the client to cover the drivers expenses only.
