World Challenge Peru 2017 - Grace Long

I, very fortunately, have been given the opportunity to explore Southern Peru, alongside some fellow students from my school. From this trip I will gain valuable skills and memories that will last a lifetime. Whilst in Peru I will participate in a "trekking phase"- possibly visiting the iconic Machu Picchu! Nevertheless, in my opinion I feel as though the most important and rewarding part of my trip will be my "project phase", in which my fellow students and I will being visiting an under privileged, developing village, where we will assist in the local community. I am greatly passionate about having a positive effect on the lives of those less fortunate than myself and hope this trip will give me the perfect opportunity to do so. While we are there we will be based in the village to help with construction work and education in the local schools. This will be a once in a lifetime experience, and I would be extremely grateful if you could help me make this opportunity a reality. Thank you!
