Over £35m raised for good causes through easyfundraising
Grampound Football Club has been in existence for well over 100 years and its home is at Grampound Recreation Ground in the centre of the village, which is itself situated in the heart of Cornwall. The club enjoys exceptional changing facilities in Grampound Community Hall (opened 2004) in the Recreation Ground and in recent years has been running two men's teams in the Duchy League, acknowledged as one of the best organised in the south west. The League, of which Grampound is a founder member, is made up of teams from the eastern half of Cornwall and has become so popular and successful that it has also attracted a number of clubs from West Devon into membership. As part of its development, the club is running a youth team (Under-18) and a Veterans team in the season 2010-11. The club is also a partner with the Cornwall FA in the development of a mini-soccer centre at nearby Grampound Road for childrenaged 6 to 11 in the locality.
