About this cause

About our cause

Grampian Youth Orchestra (GYO), is a regional youth orchestra which started as part of the Aberdeen International Youth Festival (AIYF) in 2006. The orchestra brings together talented musicians from the Grampian region of Scotland (including Aberdeenshire and Moray), offering instrumentalists of school and university age the opportunities to work with leading conductors and to perform with international and local musicians.
