About Cambodia 2017 - Harriet Whitfield
Whilst I'm out there, I shall be participating in a range of voluntary work which includes helping to improve the education and living standards of a developing Country of Asia. I am most looking forward to helping improve the lives of the local community. Our work will involve : Building bridges across rivers enabling children to gain far easier and safer access to school, planting crops within the local villages, working amongst the local Khmer children to help improve their understanding of English, digging waterholes, cleaning beaches from drift waste (saving the turtles), building school kitchens to help provide the children with at least one meal a day and many more rewarding tasks.
