As Env Science students at UEA, we have studied in great depth many of the issues facing Africa today, one of the foremost being water stress.That’s why we’ve decided to climb Kilimanjaro for Dig Deep as one of their key qualities is close communication with village chiefs to find what they need, so that any funds we raise will have the maximum impact in Africa; whereas larger organisations may lose focus and provide them with only short term aid or unnecessary appliances.
