About Indian Ocean Row - Helen Taylor

Helen Taylor is aiming to become the first female to row across the Indian Ocean starting in April 2009. Joined by 7 fellow adventurers in an ocean going eight, she will row over 3000 nautical miles from Australia to Mauritius. The journey will take anything from 50-90 days depending on the weather conditions! She will be raising money for charity along the way with Scope Suffolk as the main beneficiary. This is a respite care centre in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, for children with cerebral palsy. First though, she needs to raise £15,000 in sponsorship to get to the startline. All money raised in excess of this amount will go directly to charity but the challenge can not go ahead without the target amount being reached. All and any help is greatly appreciated! Thank you.

"There's quite a few sites similar to easyfundraising. But where this site stands out is it's helpful & quick replies to queries. It is so easy to set up an account & to start saving for a good cause - I've recommended easyfundraising to a lot of my friends, and they're as impressed as I am with the ease of how it works."

"I run a not for profit Community Interest Company and shared our cause. Very easy to use, templates ready to share on social media, with direct links to our page and pop up reminders installed for when I was shopping with numerous websites, where I could gain the free donation. Excellent service and a fabulous idea."
