The Hayley Higginson Trust is committed to honouring the memory of a remarkable young woman and helping juvenile cancer sufferers and their families in Shropshire, Powys and the West Midlands.
Hayley Higginson succumbed to an incurable brain tumour on 9th February 2010. She was only 16 years old and, although her life was short, she was an inspiration to those who knew her and now her spirit lives on in the shape of the charity that bears her name.
The Trust works in partnership with the Shrewsbury & Telford NHS Trust (SATH) with young patients who are treated on the Lingen Davies Children’s Cancer Unit, Ward 16 at the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital.
