Childreach International - Cilmb Kilimanjaro for Kids 2011 - Holly Drinkwater

In July, I will be travelling to Tanzania along with 40 fellow students, to undertake one of Childreach International's fundraising challenge experiences. The 11 day expedition will test me to my limits as I attempt to climb Mount. Kilimanjaro. The climb is in aid of Childreach International a charity who works in developing countries around the world aiming to get more children into school and out of poverty; they improve children’s education, healthcare, protection and child rights and help to provide children with the resources and inspiration required to go on and create bright futures. Before the climb I be lucky enough to visit the small Tanzanian village, Moshi, where I will have the opportunity to help out in the schools that will benefit from my very fundraising. This is why my appeal is so special; I have done lots of fundraising before but have never had the opportunity to see the direct effects of my fundraising, however this time I will. So far, I have raised �£2,211 so am well on the way to my self-set target of �£3,000.
