The HVO is a friendly group of adults and young people and serves as a development orchestra, playing a wide variety of musical styles and providing a relaxed atmosphere for amateur players in the Holme Valley. On average we put on 3/4 concerts a year, including community events, much enjoyed by our members and audiences. Funds raised for our cause with enable us to access a wider selection of music, cover rehearsal space costs and the expenses involved in concert organisation and advertising.
