About Impington Village College Sensory Room
A sensory room provides a therapeutic nurturing environment for children and adults who experience difficulty processing the world. At IVC we have a wide range of students with additional needs. In particular we currently have 31 students that are diagnosed with ASC, many of which experience significant sensory sensitivity which means they find it difficult to understand and interact in the world around them. These young people would benefit hugely from a sensory room.
