About Dormant - Ilford & West Essex Model Railway Club

The Ilford & West Essex Model Railway Club was formed in 1930 and is the third oldest model railway club in the UK, We Have a lovely club building and grounds with an outside miniature live steam railway. Our Club house is now well over 50 Years old and was only a temporary structure when originally erected (called a bambery shead) and we now find needing a new roof. Any contributions would be most gratefully received. please see our website for more of our history and to come and visit us.
