About Jacari
Jacari helps disadvantaged refugee, asylum-seeking and migrant children aged 6-16 who don't speak English as their first language and are struggling at school. Our volunteer tutors, many of whom are students at local Universities, visit children every week for fun, informal tutoring, helping to build their confidence and language skills. During the Covid-19 pandemic, they've tutored online, providing vital support and helping kids stay on track with their education.
