Jakes Dream Fund

Jake was born with no complications and everything seemed fine until when he was 8 months old and we started to realise there was something not quite right. Jake was not reaching his milestone's. After a load of test's over which seemed to go on for eternity, our worst fears were confirmed that he has Cerebal Palsy. Jake now 2 years and cannot walk, crawl or sit for long periods of time unadded and daily has to have physio which is unpleasant but neccessary for Jake. Anyone who know's Jake always comments on the fact he is always smiling even though he must be in pain a lot of the time. It breaks our heart that we have to see our son go through this everyday. We have found an operation in the USA which will help Jake's mobility and possibly even help him walk, plus also be pain free. Between the age of 2 and 4 is the best time for him to have this done so we are trying everything to raise the £50,000 which it will cost to change his life. Its seems an unreachable amount but as long as we have the determination like Jake has everyday and the constant and overwelming support of our family and friends, we will continue until we get there.
