About World Challenge Borneo July 2011 - James Hodges

My friend Matt and I decided to join a group of about 30 students at our school to go on an amazing educational adventure with the help of world challenge. This is a once in a life time opportunity that we are very fortunate to do. In this amazing adventure we will learn new things, experiance team work, learn important new skills and push ourselves to the best of our abbilities. With the help of World Challenge we plan to go to Borneo in Indonesia. Last year another group of students had the opportunity to go on an adventure with the help of World challenge and help the local community, they helped to rebuild a bridge that had been damaged by a flood; repaint the local town hall and even wisit the local schools in the local communities to teach them English, all with their own funding. In the trip there are many different phases; a treck phase where we climb the highest mountain in Borneo, and treck through the rain forest and a community phase where we go into the local community and help to enpoverished locals, as well as an aclimatisation phase. On the once in a life time adventure we will have to make our own descisions, our own food, find our own accomodation, and look after our own money. However to go on this expensive four week adventure we have to raise all of the £3,695; so please would you ask all of your friends and family to go onto this website as part of our fundraising. We are very grateful. Thank you for allowing us to explore the world, James and Matt.

"There's quite a few sites similar to easyfundraising. But where this site stands out is it's helpful & quick replies to queries. It is so easy to set up an account & to start saving for a good cause - I've recommended easyfundraising to a lot of my friends, and they're as impressed as I am with the ease of how it works."

David - easyfundraising user

"I run a not for profit Community Interest Company and shared our cause. Very easy to use, templates ready to share on social media, with direct links to our page and pop up reminders installed for when I was shopping with numerous websites, where I could gain the free donation. Excellent service and a fabulous idea."
