Despite winning three medals at the Rio Paralympics, Jessica-Jane Applegate's funding has been slashed, as she was unable to reach a personal best during 2016. Jessica-Jane, from Burgh Castle near Great Yarmouth, competes in the S14 classification for swimmers with a learning disability. She and her family were devastated to learn that the gap in funding may result in her being unable to represent her country at the 2020 Paralympics. The team at Nwes has been inspired to help.
