About Shree Bhagawati Basic School Nepal - Joanna Mushat

In 2019 I took 42 students from St George’s to work with the students at Shree Bhagawati Basic School, Nepal, a school I first visited in 2008. The school is state-run but is mainly funded by donations from trekkers and really struggles to pay for its staff as the government only funds 5 of the 12 teachers. I want to raise money to support this remarkable school that educates its whole community no matter their caste and gives them the best education possible in a remote rural setting.
