About our cause

Johansen Dance Company is a freestyle disco dancing school with around 50 permanent members ageing from 2-20. We regularly attend dance competitions, perform in annual shows and local events such as Middlesbrough Mela and take two examinations each year were we have had a 100% pass rate for the last six years. There really is something for everyone here be it dancing for fun or for competition. We are always trying to raise funds to pay for new equipment such as mirrors, mats, barres, tracksuits and to get our dancers to the competitions and festivals. We have a parent run fundraising committee who are always looking for ways to raise funds.
