I am trying to raise money to support my postgraduate course at the Slade School of Fine Art. I come from a disadvantaged background and have been told there is no funding available for students on this basis. This means that despite working hard throughout my undergraduate course and being eligible for a government loan, I cannot afford to take up my place.
