About World Challenge India 2018 - Kenzie Squires
We will be taking several short treks from Leh which can incorporate visits to places of local cultural importance, as well as numerous temples and monasteries. The main treks in Ladakh offer teams the chance to enjoy stunning mountain scenery as they pass pristine lakes and nomad settlements. We may also catch a glimpse of some of the regions native wildlife if we are lucky. We are also carrying out project work in local villages, usually involving maintenance work in schools, painting murals, fixing the buildings or general odd jobs with plenty of opportunity for interaction with local villagers and children.
