I am fundraising for the Kurdish community in Leeds to buy a building. This self-funded organisation has worked tirelessly for the past four years to serve others. During Covid, they have distributed food parcels to over 60 families weekly and fed the homeless. They do regular litter pickings around the city of Leeds and have organised a Climbing Group for better mental health. They currently run a Saturday school for 80 children, teaching British values, self-respect, the Kurdish language and culture. The Kurdish House in Leeds is the most selfless organisation I have ever seen; they would help anyone in need, regardless of their nationality, culture or beliefs. Please see their activities on Facebook @ Kurdish House Leeds. The organisation has been struggling for a building they can call theirs' and where they can carry out activities and continue to help others. During this time, they have been renting the premises of other community groups. Currently, the KHL is without a building, so they have stopped their activities and desperately need premises. They have found a building to purchase but cannot afford it. Please help the community that helps others.
