Raising For Kye's Anti-contracture Leg Bracing

Thank you for popping by we are Kye's parents Lauren & James. We have began raising funds for Kye for specialised anti-contracture Leg & knee braces. Kye currently has contractures on both his left & right knee & struggles to straighten his legs due to the contractures. Kye is 11 he suffered a TBI at 5 months of age & as a result has ongoing disabilities, muscle tightness & dystonia We have spoken with consultants through the NHS & they have suggested one option "surgery" We have attended a specialist clinic in Kingston who have not only filled us with hope they have gave us a solution other than surgery "Anti-contracture knee & leg braces" Funding for Kye's Knee & leg braces will allow kye to straighen & lengthen his hamstrings & the ability to use his walker & his innowalk with out being in alot of pain & daily discomfort with his contractures. These braces will enhace kye's quality of life and take away his daily struggles. The funding will be used to pay for Kye's anti-contracture leg & knee braces,re-casting of new braces & ongoing care & therapy within the clinic. This means so much to us to give kye the quality of life he needs, many people take walking or standing for granted but kye he can't with out pain & bent knees which eventually will cause lower back & spinal problems.
