About Lakes United FC - Redcar
In Aug 1999 the football club gained its identity: With the Name of Lakes United FC, thereby creating a closer link with the community of the Lakes Estate and Redcar Town. Lakes United FC can pride itself for being part of the community, by creating opportunities for under privileged personnel to play sport and therefore trying to reduce crime, anti social behaviour in the local areas of the community. We self generate funds which is through such things as this to try and make the club bigger.
